Heyho Liebe Queers and Friends,
Ich bin Dylan, Mitglied bei Havel der Vielfalt und Mitorganisator des diesjährigen CSDs hier in Branne!
Und zwar unter dem Motto: „Branne bleibt bunt“, denn es gibt dieses Jahr einen Grund mehr zu feiern. Denn es ist nämlich der fünfte CSD in Folge und der sechste insgesamt.
Trotzdem braucht es diesen weiterhin, denn laut dem Bundeskriminalamt ist allein von 2024 auf 2025 ist die Hasskriminalität bundesweit in Bezug auf die sexuelle Orientierung & geschlechtsbezogene Diversität um über 15,3% gestiegen. Das ist ein Zuwachs von insgesamt 2917 auf 3364 Fällen! Oder noch viel näher: es gibt immer mehr Hasskommentare unter unserem Social Media Auftritten, welche sich auf queere Themen beziehen.
Es gibt aber auch Lichtblicke: denn Anfang des Jahres hat unser neuer Oberbürgermeister Daniel Keip sein Amt angetreten und gibt uns zu queeren Themen Rückenwind, sowohl auf Social Media als auch in Präsenz. Beispielsweise war er am 17. Mai zum IDAHOBIT, dem internationalen Tag gegen Homo-, Bi-, Trans- und Interfeindlichkeit, auch dabei und hat die Regenbogenflagge mit uns am Rathaus gehisst. Für heute ist er dennoch unpässlich, wünscht uns für den Verlauf der Veranstaltung aber alles Gute. Trotzdem möchten wir ihm an der Stelle dafür danken und freuen uns auf weitere gemeinsame Arbeit. Außerdem möchten wir dem Jugendforum & der Brannebande für die Organisation des CSDs danken und freuen uns, jedes Jahr mitorganisieren zu dürfen. Dennoch ist nicht alles Gold, was glänzt. Es gibt weiterhin viel zu tun. Daher wird meine Kollegin Sophie während des CSDs die Forderungen verlesen.

Hey there, dear queers and friends,
I’m Dylan, a member of Havel der Vielfalt and a co-organizer of this year’s CSD here in Branne!
The theme is “Branne Stays Colorful,” because this year there’s one more reason to celebrate. This is the fifth CSD in a row and the sixth in total.
Nevertheless, it’s still needed, because according to the Federal Criminal Police Office, from 2024 to 2025 alone, hate crimes nationwide related to sexual orientation and gender diversity rose by over 15.3%. That’s an increase from 2,917 to 3,364 cases in total! Or to put it even more local: there are more and more hateful comments on our social media pages that relate to queer issues.
But there are also rays of hope: at the beginning of the year, our new mayor, Daniel Keip, took office and has been giving us a boost on queer issues, both on social media and in person. For example, on May 17, he joined us for IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Intersexphobia, and raised the rainbow flag with us at City Hall. He is unable to attend today, but he wishes us all the best for the event. Nevertheless, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank him and look forward to continuing to work together. We’d also like to thank the Youth Forum and the Brannebande for organizing the CSD and are delighted to help organize it every year. Still, not all that glitters is gold. There is still much to be done. That is why my colleague Sophie will read out our demands during the CSD.
